Magnetic Particle Testing
Magnetic particle Testing is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities using the principle of magnetic flux leakage in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. Magnetic particle Testing includes Visible and Fluorescent Technique.
Liquid Penetrant Testing
Liquid Penetrant Testing is used to locate surface-breaking defects such as casting, forging and welding surface defects such as hairline cracks, surface porosity, leaks in new products, and fatigue cracks on in-service components in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics.) Liquid Penetrant Testing includes Visible and Fluorescent Technique.
Eddy Current Testing
Eddy current Testing is one of several NDT methods that use the principle of “electromagnetism as the basis for conducting examinations in all conductive materials, especially tubings . Eddy currents are created through a process called electromagnetic induction.
Visual Testing
Visual Testing is one of the most common and most powerful means of non-destructive testing. Visual testing requires adequate illumination of the test surface and proper eye-sight of the tester. Visual Testing shall be classified as Direct visual testing, Remote visual testing and Translucent visual testing.
Radiography
Radiography Testing is based on the principle of preferential radiation Transmission and Absorption.” A beam of x-rays or gamma rays is pointed at the item being tested. A detector is lined up with the beam on the other side of the item. The film records x-rays or gamma rays that pass through the material.
Leak Testing
Leak testing is a process used to detect manufacturing defects which helps verify the integrity of product using the principle of leak flow due to pressure difference, which refers to the leakage of a gas or liquid from the vessels.
Holiday Detection
Holiday testing is a non-destructive test method applied on protective coatings to detect unacceptable discontinuities such as pinholes and voids. The test involves checking an electric circuit to see if current flows to complete the circuit. This testing is used to find coating film discontinuities that are not readily visible.
Hardness Testing
Hardness is the property of a material that enables it to resist plastic deformation, usually by penetration. However, the term hardness may also refer to resistance to bending, scratching, abrasion or cutting.
Replica Metallography
Replication is a method of copying the topography of a surface by casting or impressing material onto the surface. It is the commonly used technique to duplicate surfaces that are inaccessible in metrology to other forms of nondestructive testing.
Specialized Level III and NDT Services during ASME Audit
Specialized Level III and NDT Services including demonstration in presence of ASME Authorized Inspector in accordance with ASME Code requirements for coded pressure vessels, boilers etc.,
Preparatory Training in International Certification of ISO 9712 : 2012
Provision of in house / external training services for the Certification of ISO 9712 : 2012 by specialized trainers in welding and manufacturing sectors.
Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing
Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing technique is based on the principle of Magnetic flux leakage for the examination of pipe, tubing and casing, both new and used. The wheel base shall be placed closer possible on the tank floor for effective scanning.
Ultrasonic Testing of Shell Plates
Ultrasonic nondestructive Testing robot with a piezoelectric oscillator needs to touch only the material surface to be directly inspected using a coupling medium. The advantages shall be manual Testing is difficult to perfectly and exactly perform due to the enormous amount of Testing needed.
Internal Rotary Testing System
Internal rotary Testing system is an ultrasonic method for the nondestructive testing of pipes and tubes. The IRIS probe is inserted into a tube that is flooded with water, and the probe is pulled out slowly as the data is displayed and recorded. The ultrasonic beam allows detection of metal loss from the inside and outside of the tube wall.
Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM)
Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM) is an electromagnetic technique for non-destructive testing detection and sizing of surface breaking cracks with the surface being coated with paint, rust etc.
Internal Pipeline Testing
Internal pipe Testing is performed at acceptance of a pipeline to determine the quality of a fairly long completed portion for determining the necessity and time frame for maintenance or rehabilitation work.
